I was so excited to finally install this screen protector on my One Plus 8 Pro. I first ordered another protector that doesn't work at all with the fingerprint reader and really desensitizes everything else. I've never had to carefully choose a screen protector: anything made for the phone and cut correctly seemed fine. However, the glass I received previously was so disappointing and the reviews for the other glass devices were far from encouraging as most reported similar issues. Since the OP8P is a relatively new phone, there aren't thousands of reviews for each product to see how proven it is, just like other products designed for Samsung and Apple devices. However, I decided to give TPU plastic film a try and I was very glad I did. Installation was easy. Let's say not the easiest one but it's easy to follow many steps especially for videos. I'm very impressed how little he gets in the way; It's really hard to know it's there and almost invisible to the naked eye even after you know you've just put it on. I can absolutely see it reducing oily fingerprints and preventing scratches. I still doubt whether it offers the same protection as a bulletproof glass protector in the event of a fall, but that's not due to this specific protector, it's just a difference in style. Of course, every style has its compromises. I felt the company did a good job of offering a premium product with good instructions at a very reasonable price.
