Review on Sturdy And Stylish: VECELO Queen Platform Bed Frame With Rustic Vintage Wood Headboard And Metal Slats Support by Steve Walton

Bed is nice, assembly not so much

The bed came in large box as expected and weighted a good amount. Everything was secured and well packaged. Unfortunately, they need better quality control. Some of the screws did not fit the pieces because it looks like they were made wrong. For example on the head board was instructed to use a certain screw. On one side the screw fit well, on the other it didn't because the screw had to be longer to fit. The same happened on 3 other spots. I had to rearrange screws. Obviously not enough screws at this point. I could have called the company to get more sent but I was assembling this on a Saturday and I doubt there would have been any action until Monday or Tuesday. By the time the screws would have been delivered who knows how long that would take. So I had to go to Lowe's to find screws that were similar to complete. Company should really have better quality control or send extra screws just in case. The bed itself feels sturdy. Overall, it took a few hours to assemble because of issues fitting the screws and then having to go buy extra. I wouldn't purchase again at this point. Just too much of a hassle and they only provide an email for contacting them with issues.

Pros
  • Sturdy & Stable: This bed frame build with 9 legs and 14pcs of heavy-duty steel slats, rustic Industrial wooden grain headboard and footboard adds better supports to your mattress;
Cons
  • The bed frame may be too bulky to fit through narrow hallways or doorways
