Bad strip with an electrical short - the multimeter video test shows a short circuit.

I had trouble with this strip after installing part of it on my computer which then burned its RGB header FETs and actually melted them due to the short strip. Be aware that plugging a faulty strip like this into a controller or motherboard could destroy the RGB circuitry or your external controller. However, simply disconnecting the two 12V+ circuits does nothing, except that the bulbs will not light after the disconnection. After I plugged this strip into my motherboard's RGB connector, the RGB riser caps melted and smoked. I can't prove this strip did it, but I plugged the same portion of the strip into a controller connected to a 12 volt AC-DC converter and the controller smoked. After connecting, the controller stopped working properly (missing colors and wrong colors). Look, it could have been back-to-back games with the same jersey. This stripe was present when the RGB header on my motherboard started smoking and stopped working properly when connected to an external 12v controller box. I can't prove it was a streak on either of them. This could be because the RGB connector on the motherboard went bad and burned the strip, and then the strip burned the external controller. What I can prove is that there was a short in a section of the strip that I never used. So I took a piece of the same strip but a section that was never connected and tested it. I checked the contacts for integrity with a digital multimeter and found shorts throughout the strip. (Please watch the video) So. The motherboard could cause the strip to fail in such a way that the external controller failed after I connected it to the external control box. Or maybe it's a coincidence. Or the bar is somehow bad and made my motherboard and external controller smoke. After watching the video I leave that decision up to you. Of course if you use this with a Supernight controller and power supply you can just return it. However, if you want to connect it to the motherboard RGB header, be careful.
