Review on Foowin Portable Monitor Display Speaker 15.8", 1920X1080P, 60Hz, Z1, HDMI by Paul Baker

Versatile and lightweight

I'm actually a bit shocked at how big this portable monitor is at this price point. I needed a portable monitor because I may or may not have ruined my laptop's screen and was told that under no circumstances would I ever get a replacement computer. so! Portable monitor it! Another really neat thing is that it has multiple ports for multiple of my devices; Mini HDMI and USBC. There's also an audio jack option instead of listening from the speakers, another good option for those of us who may or may not be watching TT during our lunch break haha. The two built-in speakers add a nice touch to the sound quality. much of what I play on it. And it recognized my tablet, phone, and even my computer almost immediately with no issues. I plugged in my phone and an OK button and my phone was mirrored right on the screen, essentially turning into a touchscreen mouse pad. It's very responsive and easy to use for almost everyone in the family, including my two youngest ones, when they want to watch Noggin on the big screen, but all the main TVs are used by my siblings. In addition, it is very light. I've always been surprised that it's not as heavy as the main monitor. The lid is nice and sturdy, doubles as a kickstand to keep it in place and stays pretty solid even with the guys bumping into it and the phone. The cables that come with it are very good and long, which is another big plus since we're not tied to an outlet and don't have to hold the phone directly on our lap.

Pros
  • 14 x 9 x 0.35 inches
Cons
  • Poor Response Time: If the monitor's response time is too slow, movements may appear blurry or slow.
