I switched from FT to MFT about 18 months ago when I bought E- M1ii. Great camera, but the E-M1iii is much better. Some people might just see the E-M1iii as a small evolutionary upgrade from the E-M1ii, but I think they're just focusing on keeping the sensor, EVF and pivoting screen the same, plus a few small tweaks and the big Image is completely missing (two puns intended). In fact, the sum of small improvements PLUS big improvements makes the E-M1iii a huge upgrade: faster and new TruePic processor, USB power and charging, LiveComp increased from 3 to 6 hours, improved face recognition, improved IBIS, joystick, weather protection , a better-rated shutter, four customizable modes and a lightbulb on the watch face, MyMenu, High Definition for wearables, LiveND and the list goes on. The E-M1iii is a fantastic camera for working and shooting. Here are two sample images. I wish I had more, but the security of my home and the smoke from the California wildfires generally discouraged me from shooting outdoors. The star trail image was captured in mid-August (before the fires) with a Laowa 4.3mm round lens and LiveComp 270x30 frame with a total exposure of 2 hours and 15 minutes. A blue and gold macaw from a local zoo under a smoky sky. I used a 40-150 f/2.8 Pro + MC-14 teleconverter + digital zoom. I almost never use digital zoom, but I wanted to see how it turned out. This worked without any problems, although the digital zoom reduced the effective resolution.
