The one I received was in good condition, no visual defects or problems. I have found it relatively difficult to bank coins, especially for a small child. Another problem I discovered after a while was that when my son put ten cents in the bank, the digital counter counted them as pennies. I've seen this happen to at least 10 cents and even confirmed it by adding a few myself. I knew then that what the digital meter was reading was inaccurate. I'm not the type to give a 1 star for these issues. that's a cool little piggy bank. I like that it's transparent so you can see the coins inside. If you can get one that is easy to slip coins into and counts accurately, great!
