Review on πŸ”Š Enhance Your Audio Experience with Monoprice Low Profile Speaker Wall Mount Brackets (Pair) - Black | 22 lb. Capacity by Daniel Evans

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I usually love Monoprice, but this product let me down.

I usually love Monoprice but this product was disappointing - it's not rated for anything close to Β£22. Got it working with my 15lb KEF100 speakers with mods and big disappointment. (I already had holes in my wall so I wanted to try and get it working before sending it back). Here's my work: - I sawed off a 5/8" threaded mounting screw which puts the bracket directly against the ball joint. and less stress on the screw. (Otherwise my 15 lb speaker bent the long threaded bolt). - The painful part proactively compensates for ball joint placement. When the triangular screw is tightened, the ball joint moves into the wrong position. Try to anticipate a 45 foot angle plus a slight downward angle. And then adjust with one other speaker. Every time you do this you have to tighten it down (I thought it would snap the strings to be honest.) If you don't over tighten my 15lb speaker has the ball joint loosened. Honestly, I should have known that the ball joint would not fit a heavy speaker. And I had to check the Monoprice reviews, which reflect the problem. Si e are good for lightweight speakers but not around 15lbs, definitely not 22lbs.
