I love these! Bought two pairs this summer. We bought this pair for our 8 year old and a small pair for our 3 year old. We first ordered 3 for our son who was 3 and even has a pair of size 3 Keen walking shoes that fit him very well. good at the moment. We couldn't get them up and running. We then ordered 4. Four were able to get on his foot, but only after much sweat and struggle with them. We then ordered 5 and he just put them on. My concern is that they may fall off when wet, but they aren't really huge and can be tightened. Although 4 might have been the best fit, I knew he would never wear them if they were so difficult to put on. The baby pairs have Velcro on the side, making them easy to loosen and tighten when dressing. I know it wouldn't look as good but I wish they had them too. However, I love that they have covered toes (my husband's requirement) but are still outdoors and are great for summer adventures and a fender. I have read that they are easy to clean and I have no doubt about that. We're taking her to Montana to roam the creeks. If they fail, rest assured I'll get back to you. However, this is a Keen shoe so we expect great performance from it, just like every MANY other Keen shoes we've had.
