Review on 🧵 Janome Pink Lightning: Lightweight, User-Friendly, 10-Stitch Portable Sewing Machine with Free Arm - Only 5 lbs by Lori Aguirre

I bought this sewing machine for small projects. One of these I make is bandanas for my dog. So far I've made them with a quick sew on the singer's hand, and it annoyed me. This did the job, but the end result was a bit messy. So I decided to take this Janome. First, I love the color! This is my favorite :) And I realize this product is probably for kids, it's a great sewing machine for a beginner like me (I'm 25). I don't have much room in my apartment for a full size car but I will mainly be making bandanas for my dog, this is enough for what I need it for. I also like that it's simple. The instructions were pretty clear and everything on the machine was simplified. I've included a photo of my first formal sewing project. The seams were good and tight. Not quite level but that's my fault as I'm still learning but it's barely noticeable. However, it's much better than the singer's quick stitching. A defiantly sure stab. I don't have to worry about it falling apart as my dog wears it on trips to the park. I am very happy with my new car! What I kept doing while learning to sew was I kept forgetting to lower the presser foot after getting the needle lined up the way I wanted it. After a few stitches the machine got stuck and there was a huge mess of thread on the bottom of my piece. Needless to say, I was very upset, but took a deep breath and the troubleshooter grimaced when he realized it was my fault, not the machine. I saw a photo and some testimonials from people reporting this issue and hopefully wanted to enlighten people on this issue. This is very easy, and since the machine doesn't have a fuse to stop it, it just sews like nothing happened until it's a giant mess. Anyway lesson learned. I look forward to more projects!
