I am a woman who recently bought a chainsaw and wanted the right protective gear. I usually wear medium sized disposable unisex lab gloves (which seem to match the chainsaw glove sizing chart), but I've had trouble finding anyone who actually sells medium sized chainsaw gloves. The reviews here showed the large to run small so I ordered the large and tried it out. Very happy with the result. The fingers are a little longer than I need, but not enough to be bulky or get in the way of my trusty chainsaw controls. The width of the gloves fit a hand slightly larger than mine, but they are comfortable and certainly not loose. Overall, when I put the gloves on and start using the chainsaw, they fit well enough that I don't notice the gloves at all and only focus on the actual chainsaw. This is how protective equipment should feel! Overall I would recommend them as a decent fit for a woman with average hands.
