Review on MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 225/45 R17 91W summer by Adam Wiedemann ᠌

A valuable purchase, some advantages!

Before I switched to Michelin, I was driving on Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance tires. I didn't like the way the car handled, so I decided to switch to Michelin. After the switch, the car drove completely differently; it had quick reactions to the steering wheel; its directional stability at high speed was simply excellent, regardless of the quality of the asphalt; there was no "wagging" of the stern when making sharp changes; and, in contrast to Goodyear, the rubber did not break when making sharp turns. The sidewall is quite sturdy to the touch and virtually does not sag under the weight of the machine. Excellent resistance to wear; we drove 12022 miles on it, and the wear is hardly evident.

Pros
  • Outstanding maneuverability, sturdy sidewalls, and respectable wear resistance
Cons
  • Rigidly passes slight imperfections, but the price to pay for superior handling is that this is the case. The price is quite high for my size (215/50/17)
