Description of MICHELIN Pilot Sport 4 225/45 R17 91W summer

Michelin Pilot Sport PS4 225/45 R17 91W Run Flat. The Michelin Pilot Sport 4 summer tire belongs to the UHP (Ultra High Performance) family of high-performance tires designed for cars with powerful engines. The model combines technological innovations based on the company''s experience in sporting events, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans endurance race. This has resulted in excellent braking performance and handling at high speeds, both on dry and wet roads. The tire carcass construction uses a new hybrid aramid-nylon layer to provide a high level of stability and strength. Thanks to the optimized arrangement of the blocks, it was possible to significantly increase the useful area of the contact patch of the tire with the road. The new Dynamic Response technology makes the Pilot Sport 4 highly adaptable to various road conditions. The tread rubber compound with silica and functional elastomers contributes to increased tire mileage and a high level of economy. Drainage grooves of increased displacement quickly divert water to prevent hydroplaning.

In my opinion, this tire is the most interesting thing in this size that you can buy on the market, free tire service + fuel card, level out the high cost and the difference with famous competitors is no longer so big. Michelin has always been famous for its reliability and performance despite the fact that the tire looks thin and flimsy even inside out, if it's a pilot series, then a good grip, add durability and comfort. Time will tell what will happen with wear, but I will definitely…

Pros
  • good grip and steering for active driving much softer and quieter than bridges or dunlop. free tire service guarantee the fuel card actually reduces the cost
Cons
  • Expectedly fast abrasion, although the tradewear index of 320 for tires of this class is the norm, there is either grip or durability. it's still too early to talk about anything.

I will never repeat this purchase.

The tire width does not match the declared width. Tires 235-45-18 on the 8J disk sit "house" the actual tread width is only 205mm. Even Michelin has already slipped into saving rubber and cheating the consumer A Michelin center employee confirmed that the lower grade 3 tires are for sale. rubber made in spain

Pros
  • Haven't been able to find it. Run no more than 200 km.
Cons
  • Pointed out in the comments.

I'm very happy, it really is worth buying.

This tire is on a different level than the Pirelli n Zero, which is the standard that was previously set. Valuable for the cost. While the mileage is 1500 kilometers and I am pleased with everything, let's have a look at the wear.

Pros
  • Maintains traction, spins as smoothly as on rails, and is not affected by wet pavement.
Cons
  • My opinion is that it is noisy, but it is not essential.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I do not cease to rejoice at the purchase, a very good deal!

After I replaced my previous Hankook Ventus R-S3 with this rubber, the ride immediately got more comfortable, and it was significantly quieter (47 dB as opposed to 70 dB). The steering wheel does not move around or make any attempt to free itself from the driver's grasp any longer. When the temperature drops to between 10 and 15 degrees, it has a lot stronger grip on the road than track tires.

Pros
  • - coupling qualities -silence -comfort a responsible demeanor while driving
Cons
  • No, possibly it's due to a shortage of smaller sizes.

Pure highway premium tires with a clear bias in drive. Suitable for those who want to get maximum controllability at high speeds. One of the best choices in this segment. Like other driver tires, it is very sensitive to pressure. Has pros: Excellent performance without any frankly weak points. The behavior of rubber on a dry hard surface and at any degree of its humidity is completely predictable. Runs great at any speed. When the traction capability is exceeded, stall occurs in a predictable…

A wonderful product, it's nice to use.

Numerous positive aspects include excellent tires that are low-noise and well balanced even with the lightest possible load. You don't move at all, but instead you float on a cloud where there is hardly any sound. Some cons: It may seem like a lot of money to some people, but it seems to me that everything worthwhile doesn't come cheap.

Great quality, happy with it one hundred percent!

Tires are not for silent moves. Even if they don't have a significant deficit of potash, I'll forgive them. Tires will be enjoyed by people who have a passion for speed (you can still drive around the Central Ring Road without being monitored by cameras), start, cornering, and coasting are fantastic.

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The quality is at the highest level, be sure to try it.

Some pros: Handling, not noisy. Excellent traction both when dry and when wet on the asphalt. Soft. Having these drawbacks: In order to prevent injuries such as punctures and hernias, it is essential to keep the pressure at a level that does not fall below 2.6 atmospheres.

The conclusion is that the rubber is the greatest there is in everything; but, if you bought it, put it on, skated it, and then threw it away and took the same new one for the following season, you would have the same results. Advantages: When anything is brand new, everything is hot, just everything. I've been driving on rubber for three years now, using tires with the size w219 245/45/18. Three of the wheels have about half as much tread remaining as they did before (the fourth wheel was…

The best thing I've ever used, I recommend it to everyone!

As a replacement, I purchased Primasi 3 tires in the same size as the previous set (225/45/17), and I currently have them mounted on the Octavia A7 1.8 st1 - 240ls with front-wheel drive. I was anticipating a decline in noise and smoothness following a colleague, but to my surprise, they are at least not worse than prima 3, and subjectively seem to be better in terms of comfort. This could be because they are brand new, despite the fact that prima sold them with a residual of 1-2mm to limiters.

Pros
  • Calm and very accommodating to the user A strong grip
Cons
  • As a potential cost for all of the benefits, it hasn't been determined yet, but quick wear is a possibility.

I did not like it, I do not advise buying.

245/45/18 Spain, BMW X1. It's possible that the quality of the tires differs depending on the country in which they were made, but overall, I was unimpressed. It's true that when it's dry, you don't give much thought to anything, but you can drive on dry tires even if they're worn down. What really matters is how they perform in adverse conditions. It was not raining that it was pouring straight at the entrance to the turn, it began to slow down, but not there it was, the car went skidding, and

Pros
  • When driving on dry pavement, the handling is excellent. Craftsmanship and a sense of balance.
Cons
  • Aquaplaning in a transverse direction is not only incompetent but also dangerous! Look at what they have to say about it in their exams from other countries.

When starting from a stop, the Michelin has a strong grip, but the Yokohama catches and stops more earlier and more easily under braking conditions. Regardless of how you typically drive, the Yokohama has a lot of power and is easy to understand in the corners. On a 55 profile, the rigidity is mild, which is acceptable, and in my opinion, optimal. Before I made my purchase in the store, someone informed me that Yokohama is a poor brand of tire that should be taken off the vehicle and thrown…

Pros
  • This is a review of the overpriced and overhyped Michelin Pilot Sport4 tires that were fitted on a V55 Camry 3.5. It will be about whether or not it makes sense to put Michelin tires on a civilian car, as well as whether or not this rubber will increase the safety, handling, and comfort of your vehicle. In the past, I was unable to respond with complete assurance to this question. Before I begin the review, I want to preface it by stating that I am currently in a position to evaluate these tires since I am aware of the reasons why people purchase tires and how the driving behavior of a vehicle on the road can vary depending on the tires that are mounted on the vehicle even when the weather is the same. Along with knowledge comes expertise gained from driving a variety of high-powered sports vehicles and tires, including a Jaguar F Type 3.0 with 380 horsepower and Bridgestone tires, an Audi A7 3.0 with 340 horsepower and Bridgestone tires, and a Lexus RC 317 horsepower with Dunlop rear wheel drive. I thought that if I put on more expensive tires, I could improve handling and traction with asphalt a little without changing the factory wheel parameter, without even allowing the thought that it was possible make it worse. At the time, my personal Camry 3.5 car had worn-out Yokohama factory tires. I thought that if I put on more expensive tires, I could improve handling and traction with asphalt a little. I was watching a TV show when I suddenly became aware of the brand name Michelin "Pilot Sport 4". It appears as though my thinking was correct; I researched the list of vehicles on which it may be fitted, and I considered buying one. There are many people whose opinions I will not seek out. Now I have a better understanding of the car or tire that would be most suitable for you, but you won't really know what you think about it until you test it for yourself. The retailer pointed to several road tests as evidence that the product in question was the greatest tire available anywhere in the globe. They predicted that I would be happy, so there should be no question about it. I made the decision to test it out in the factory size 215/55/17, and the result was that I ended up writing a very critical review of it.
Cons
  • After having the tire for 5 months following the purchase, I put it through its paces in a variety of conditions ranging from +5 to +34. The tire has a very low noise level, but that is the only benefit it offers. I often enter twists and rings at speeds of sixty to seventy kilometers per hour (whistles loudly). In the seven years that Yokohama has owned Camrys, the company has never made such a sound. I owned three brand-new Carmis, each of which was equipped with brand-new Yokohama tires. One V50 with a 2.5-liter engine and two V55s with 3.5-liter engines were purchased. In addition, because the Michelin has a small side cord, the rubber plays quite strongly in the corners on the 55 profile. This is the case with all Michelin profiles. In comparison to how it was before, my vehicle became uncontrollable as soon as I engaged "Pilot Sport" in its transmission. I'm sure that a good number of people who read the post would argue that the Camry is already too accommodating. I completely and totally agree that the suspension is too soft; nonetheless, the handling has become an order of magnitude worse with Michelin tires than it was with the OEM Yokohama tires. This is a source of discomfort. In addition to the whistle, I also noticed that the directional stability indicator started blinking a great deal more frequently. When the body was about to leave a severe curve, it would begin to produce two or even three "pendulum" movements that were barely discernible.

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

Size 245/45/18, Citroen c5. Primacy 4, PilotSport4, and ContiPremiumContact6 were the options available to pick from. Since the sidewall of the pilot is more rigid and thicker than that of the primacy, he didn't even think about using a kontiki. Primacy is focused on increasing comfort, while the pilot is concerned with handling. It reached an acceleration of 170 kilometers per hour (I'll try more more), and when the road is dry, it zips around as if it's on rails. The layout is straightforward

Pros
  • In my perspective, you handled the dry handling perfectly. Good rolling Quiet On tiny irregularities elastic, in the sense that it is neither hard nor soft.
Cons
  • Haven't revealed yet

A wonderful product, its nice to use.

249 horsepower with all-wheel drive and 235/45/17 tires. The tire has been driven forty thousand miles. The ideal combination of controllability and ride quality in my automobile. I started over by deleting everything to zero, and then I took the same new ones. Has some pros: Silence and silky smoothness, which helps to slightly compensate for the suspension's inherent firmness. Served for three years without suffering even a single hernia during that time. Also, the screw did not turn) The…

The best thing I've ever used, a great item for everyone!

I drive a BMW 5 E60. In the beginning, there were NEXEN zr 16 tires, which were really good tires. After that came the potenza 001 225/5516 bridge tires, which were excellent. a little rough, more than 180 on the curves it was somewhat uncertain, and now the bear is 245/40 zr 18 - and this is just space! The grip is excellent regardless of the pace! It comes highly recommended for folks who enjoy driving quickly. Additionally, when traveling at modest speeds, comfort is a benefit for you))) The

I have a W212 3-liter vehicle with tires measuring 245/40/18 and 265/35/18 respectively. At first, I wasn't even going to bother writing a review due to the fact that. Since it seems that everything has already been said, I didn't think there was any purpose in my including anything further. Following the installation of this rubber, the car started to have a different sensation; it's difficult to describe; it turned into an iron; previously, there was Yokohama advan sport, which was also cool,

Pros
  • At the beginning of the bend, at a high rate of speed - as though on rails It handles much more competently than I anticipated when driving on rainy roads.
Cons
  • When I made the decision to buy these tires, there was hardly nowhere in St. Petersburg that had them in stock; consequently, I had to wait two weeks for delivery: (
