Not as sharp as its cheaper, more common counterpart, the 28-135, by a factor of three. A little better and heavier in construction, but 28-135's picture quality is where it really shines. Having 28-135, I went to pick 24-105, did so, removed both under similar circumstances, and returned the 24-105. It's not worth the price they're asking.
