Review on Women'S Linen Harem Long Pants - SCOFEEL Drop Crotch Drape Culottes Trousers by Stuart Sugden

Love these! But please laugh with me here.

I absolutely love these! But there's a major discrepancy in the two sizing charts. I wear all of my pants on my hips, which are 37 inches, so I strictly go by the waist measurement. According to the sizing chart in the description down the page, I should have ordered an extra small. According to the chart in the pictures, I should have ordered an extra large. I like my pants rather large and am used to having to order way up with anything from China, so I went with the 2XL (two extra large) "just to be safe".Hahahahaha. Bad move! These barely sit on my hips, and when I walk they just fall to the floor. When I stretch the band (which is thick but really soft and comfy), I could probably fit another of myself in them. They are so long that when I pulled the drop crotch all the way up to my actual crotch, the skinny part of the leg below the drop crotch just hit the floor (am 5'5" and evenly proportioned). So these would work well for someone 6'6"+. If I wanted them to fit how I usually wear my pants (tight enough around my hips that they don't fall but without actually being tight) and wanted them to look how they do in the photos, I probably could have gotten away with a medium. But the cool thing is that the pants in the photos weren't exactly what I was looking for, but the ridiculous size that I received turned out to be perfect. I just have to alter the waist band and shorten them a bit. Easy peasy. As for the fabric (I ordered black), it's awesome. Like a vintage loose-knit textured cotton/linen that I really hope doesn't tighten up in the wash. So light-weight and breezy, perfect for this incredibly hot summer. And there are two side pockets and a back pocket, for those who like pockets. These are definitely worth owning more than one pair of.

Pros
  • With their versatile design, these pants can be dressed up or down, making them a great addition to any wardrobe and a practical investment for any fashion-conscious woman
Cons
  • may be difficult to style with certain types of footwear
