Saved me a lot of money - remote control extensions
My BOSE system was not responding to my remote and was acting like it had basically failed. There were no built-in controls on the main box to turn the device on and off. A small diagnosis revealed that the IR receiver module in the interface box is only "maybe" defective. For only a few bucks I figured it would be worth a try. WA LAAA. The system now works like a champ. A simple replacement for those who have ever used a small soldering iron.
