I have been remodeling my home and have purchased several picture frames over the past few months. I was looking for a large gold one for my bathroom and this one fits the bill perfectly! The frame is very beautiful and very light. However, there are a few things that don't impress me. First, the plexiglass piece is so light as the cardboard on the back that it doesn't hold the print I bought perfectly flat. I tried straightening the printout (it was curled like most printouts) but it still doesn't fit the frame perfectly. I may be the only one noticing this, but it's a little disappointing considering this was one of the most expensive frames I've ever bought, although it's still relatively cheap. The frame was not preinstalled. They were easy to install, but then again, some of the less expensive frames I've bought came with D-rings installed for both vertical and horizontal hanging. The tongues that hold the back are also very cheap. Again, the cheaper frames I've bought came with swivel grommets so you can remove the rear end. These tabs need to be bent, which doesn't look good. Overall this frame is nice but not as good as some of the less expensive frames I've bought. However, my heart was set in gold and the setting itself is very beautiful. I think if the cardboard backing was stiffer and the plexiglass front a bit stronger I would be very happy.
