Review on π’ Ekena Millwork 16-inch Traditional PVC Ceiling Medallion, Unfinished by Chris Walker
Weak plastic - lighting and ceiling fans
This medallion was used to cover a displaced hole in the ceiling for a ceiling light. Looks good, but the plastic is so flimsy that all edges hang about 1/8 inch from the ceiling. Glue was used to attach the center piece to the ceiling, but you can't get glue near the edges due to the raised design. This required several coats of sealant to cover and seal the gap. The ceiling then had to be painted to hide the sealing. All in all too much work for something that should have been easy. I wish I had spent more and gotten a more reliable solution.
