I gave 5 stars for easy installation because I knew what I was getting myself into. I already have a few things on the pole and the brackets had to find their place in this mess. Also, each subsequent item added requires an additional twist. I changed the grips (required ends drilled), added a throttle lock (have to remove one of them) and added mirrors (had to adjust them to work without access to the 'bar end'). In short, buy them. Long story, buy these if you don't want to complain about how the wrapped guards affect your ability to add extra stuff to your handlebars.
