Review on 🀘 HATALKIN Apple Watch Band 44mm with Metal Bumper Case: Rugged Men Bands for SE/iWatch Series 6 5 4 - Stainless Steel Protector by Epitome Ballard

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Strap narrow and noisy

Due to the good service from the seller, I have increased my rating from 1 star to 4 stars. The seller sent me a replacement leather strap because "metal strap is not for me". The leather strap is from the same brand "KaRtice", it looks and feels good and fits well. As for the metal strap, read my first review below and see photo, especially note width of strap vs width required for Stratos === My first review is below === I trusted the previous 3 reviews and it was that wrong decision. I was able to buy from any other seller that shows the same picture but sells cheaper. And the picture is not the same either, the group is similar but not the same. The box says "Kartice, Shenzhen Chaolian Shengshi Ecommerce Co., Ltd." The box doesn't say "Amazfit Stratos," but there is a list of other watches. It doesn't say 22mm anywhere. The width is about 1mm less than the Stratos. As if that wasn't enough, the telescopes inside the band are also very loose, so it bounces around in all directions and makes noise when moving. Telescopes are also not protected from falling out. The original Amazfit strap doesn't have any of these issues, the strap is wider, the telescopes fit snugly on the rubber, and the telescopes are held in place and protected from falling out. As if this strap was invented by an idiot. The next thing I don't like is that I can either adjust it too tight or too loose in my case. The length of a link is about 1.5 times the adjustment step of the original rubber. I went with the attitude it feels too loose and it's very loud and still feels scratchy despite loosening. I'm also not a (very) heavyweight fan. Addendum: Now when a call comes in, the watch vibrates, it sounds like a loose heap of scrap metal about to fall apart.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Ok for the most part, but...
