Review on 🏍️ Red Hand Guards for 7/8" and 1 1/8" Brush Bar - Dirt Bike, ATV, Motocross by Bill Gomez

Needed some modifications but works great

Likes: - Much cheaper than big brands - Sturdy aluminum construction Dislikes: - Requires some modifications for installation. I installed them on a KTM SX-F 450 Snowbike.- The handguards were made to hit the clutch and brake levers. I had to bend them very hard so they curled out more and didn't hit my levers. The bolts that go into the bars were the same thread size as my C3 heated bars, so I didn't use the lag bolts that came with them. but I had to shorten the bolts by about an inch for this particular handlebar. These guards have plenty of room to fit around the handlebar bends and the plastic inserts on the handlebar mounts were too thick (didn't fit). screws with supplied inserts). I bought a thick rubber material to replace the thick plastic inserts and stuck them in until the rubber pushed out - see picture. So I took a little time to get them working but after that they look great and seem very durable - I can't beat the price.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Good mostly but...
