I needed to clean my dryer vent which goes up the wall before installing a new dryer so I bought it with next day delivery. I didn't use drawer mounts, but I did use flex bars. It worked like a charm. A few tips: 1) If you are using a variable speed drill use medium speed and only use it forward, 2) Have two pairs of pliers handy to switch rods as the connection is very tight when done correctly is rotated, 3) Use a shop vacuum to do this, conveniently the whole stack 4) Start with short sections to remove the near fluff, then add sticks to get spacing and insert the sticks into the vent, 5 ) You may want to drill as close to the vent as possible or you will have twisted rods, and 6) Repeat this several times, going up and down until there is no free stack. If you have a long length, it can become uncomfortable. Man $100 or more to clean the air vents.
