-UPDATED- (7 months later) Review - Great value for streamers/YouTubers on a budget

This is a first review meaning these are my thoughts on the product in just a few days. If anything happens in the next few weeks or months I will update my review to reflect the situation. So far so good, they seem to get quite bright and light up my face well. In terms of brightness, they offer 10 levels of brightness. 10%, the highest value is 100%, which corresponds to 10 brightness levels. As for the quality of the materials, I considered giving it 3 stars but decided the price was unfair so I'm giving it 4 stars instead. .All plastic so don't expect super quality but as for plastic the quality of the material is more than acceptable. on top of the stand. I don't know what else their people have complained about not being balanced when fully extended, but they may not have placed them properly or on a level surface, standing with legs fully extended she fine for me. However, that is not the point. heavy so it's possible they're more likely to fall over if the environment you plan to place them in isn't that stable with blowing winds, sloping or moving surfaces, and I highly recommend installing something of your own design. to grab the base and weigh it down if you want to use it in an unstable environment. In terms of versatility I'll give them a 4 star rating, they're not the most versatile but they offer a pretty wide tilt range. and rotate, based on two connectors, you can make them shine from almost any angle. The only reason they get 4 stars instead of 5 in this aspect is because their max height isn't the highest and also by - for what I mentioned above about the total weight of the product. Finally, I strongly recommend that you read the product specs if it states that these panels require 5V and 2.0A over USB. Connecting to lower voltage and lower current USB ports may cause the product to malfunction. .Connect them to a USB device that provides more voltage and/or current than they need, that is cheaply made and does not properly reduce voltage and current, and thus properly adjusts the output power to achieve exactly what the device requests will cause you to burn and destroy them. I therefore strongly recommend that you should ensure that any USB ports you plan to plug them into are capable of supplying at least 5V and 2.0A, and if they supply more then they are well built. Drop-down menu to provide only what the device requests from it. I personally connect them to a 2-port USB adapter that delivers up to 5V and 2.1A, but I know it's well made and just boils down to me providing what by one device is needed that requires less than what it can provide. The filters you get are the following: two of each, one for each panel. Red, blue, yellow and white. The red, blue, and yellow filters are thin and mostly transparent, allowing light to pass through easily and coloring the light. .White, however, is a thicker plastic that is softened by white and is used as a diffuse layer to diffuse the light coming out of the panel. As long as the white diffusion disk is in place, there is only enough space to insert a color filter. before that, meaning if you want to double a color or mix two or all three colors on one light source you will need to remove the diffuser plate from the light source, but that's fine because once you have more than one layer of paint it will eventually die scatter light source. The e is just enough so that it isn't too harsh for the subject you are lighting. So to sum it up: they are bright. Overall a decent build for the price but relatively light. You get two of these for such a low price. from USB which makes them more versatile as you can plug them into USB ports on a PC or like me plug them into a 2 port USB wall adapter so they don't have to use two sockets with thicker brick plugs or similar. All in all I give them 5 stars for what you get and for the price and I highly recommend them for the budget conscious entry level photographer when they need something quick and cheap but basically anyone who is on a budget and wants it good coverage for live streaming or YouTube video production. will update this review. Thanks for reading. -UPDATE-It's been 7 months and they still work great although they never move or separate from their place on my desk so they don't wear out as you move them from place to place.
