This extension works exactly as advertised. I use it with a DirecTV receiver and a 50" Toshiba Smart TV for outdoor TV setup. It took me a while to find the right code for DirecTV, but once I found it everything works great. Get a good Cat 6e cable, they're pretty cheap and worth the money. Picture is perfect, no lag, no distortions etc. VERY happy with purchase and seller (Bombay Electronics). From the IR receiver (the remote works well at a normal distance from the TV), so I called Bombay Electronics for help. They sent a new IR receiver and blaster with no questions asked after briefly describing what was going on.
