These risers come boxed and look exactly like any other risers I've used in the past. As soon as you open them you will notice the difference. They are slightly thinner than regular risers and have several different performance options. I opted for the included 6-pin power connectors. They are slightly heavier than regular risers and appear to be of better quality overall. I noticed that they come with 3 capacitors instead of the standard 4, not sure how this will affect their performance or lifespan. After installing the 6 adapters ordered, they all worked flawlessly. They have this nice LED indicator to show they are working. The LED is clearly visible in my 4U cases and I think they will help determine which card is causing hardware issues in the future. So far I am happy with my purchase and intend to purchase these adapters for my future builds or replace others. fail in the future.
