Our kids were so happy with it. Oh, how disappointed they were! Even half of the shell could not be peeled off after many attempts. I don't think the knife is sharp enough. The pressure of the paring knife causes the apple to shift and break before it's done. I was trying to prove to my wife and kids that I didn't buy the keg so I kept trying. It has let me down time and time again. We laughed heartily =)
