Will not fit Mazda 3

According to the manufacturer website this should fit my 2012 Mazda 3. Unfortunately it isn't. The size and shape is right, the plug is the same but the nipples are too small. To make this work I would have had to get rid of some adapters and add new pieces of rubber tubing. I'm not one to do hacky fixes, so I'm going back. I've attached a picture comparing it to my OEM part.
