New to Carving -

I love my BeaverCraft knives and when I was looking for a new basswood wood to carve I decided to give them a try. I'm new to carving and I don't know what I'm doing most of the time, but I'm beginning to understand why good wood is so important. My first blocks were bought from one of the big craft stores and I have to say this product is way better than what I've experienced with it. I am very happy with this choice of wood and it cuts like butter. So impressed with the value the BeaverCraft knives and blocks are no different. Excellent work!

Pros

Basswood is easy to work with: The smooth and soft texture of basswood allows you to get creative with giving it the look you want. You can color it or leave it as is and enjoy the result!
