Short, inflexible cable. Quality control problems. Definitely not worth the money.

Updated rating 19-Feb-21: Forget this product. The first product had a faulty ethernet port that didn't work. So I complained and was quickly replaced. I plugged it in and the USB ports worked as did the HDMI port, but again the Ethernet port didn't work. I now had a direct ethernet connection to the Parallel World Thin Hub which worked fine, but when I connected a cable to this UGREEN there was no connection. Reconnected to the Parallel World Hub, no problem, internet connection. I pulled the old network connector out of my closet, plugged it in (no other way than with a USB-C adapter) and connected to the internet with no problems. Therefore, two of these two devices will not work with an Ethernet connection. I'm sorry, this doesn't work for me. If you think again about the port configuration, it's poorly designed. The permanently attached cable is very short, but the power supply (USB-C charging port) is on the same side on the end of the device that connects to the computer, so it needs to be folded out from the computer. It should be on the side or the other end. Original Review: I think there are better and more flexible options. First, the ethernet port was not working. This is a quality control issue that may be addressed later. If so, I'll update my review. Next, the USB-C power cable (to your computer), while well made, is very short and not very flexible. When you have everything plugged in, it just sticks out of your computer and looks like someone is having a really bad day. It took a few minutes for the HDMI port to sync up with the monitor, but then it worked flawlessly. It has an old style VGA connector that should be useful for the 10% or so of the population that currently uses computers. For the 90% who can use a different USB-C or USB3 port, that's a minus. Overall, this thing is bigger than it should be given its small size. (I have a small Parallel World adapter with a much longer, reinforced and taped cable, an ethernet port and 3 USB 3.1 ports that does its job well - if it had an HDMI port it would be perfect - and he is much smaller and more flexible ;) I don't think I'll be using that port unless they replace it with a port that has a working ethernet port.
