Low Quality, Avoid This Item And Save Your Money

3/8" 5/8" to 1/4" Adapter Cable Ties for Blue Yeti Nano Snowball Other Microphones. This is the same item as the regular Revain item Boom Stands with Mic Clip and Zip Ties for Blue Yeti Snowball and Blue Yeti Nano (Small) 14" x 14". I was interested in buying a Rode PSA1 mic boom but a friend talked me into buying the Innogear version to try. as it looked very similar and had some good reviews. The product arrived in a very nice packaging but encountered problems during installation. I would also like to let customers know that I have an Audio Technica AT2035 with 14 .2 oz and have NOT used a 2.2 lb Yeti When I unpacked it I heard this popping sound and noticed that there was a piece of metal sticking out of the center of the mic stand There is a spring in the center that attaches to it Tooth pin is attached (see photo). This tooth pin fell out of place. I had the necessary tools to fix the element, but the little prong just popped out of position every time the mic was adjusted. Problem #2: This microphone arm is also very stiff right out of the box, as I imagined. just needs to be readjusted, there is no microphone adjustment tool in the box. You will need a #3 metric allen wrench. Luckily I had this wrench and was able to remove the round covers needed to make the necessary adjustments so I could install this outrigger. Problem #3: The mounting pin that connects to the 5/8 screw is curved instead of straight. If you look at the attached photos/videos you will see that the screw part of the pin sits flush on the table while the mounting pin is bent on the table. Problem #4. The microphone won't stay in place - you have to constantly adjust the microphone. The mounting pin is sandwiched between two plastic clips that hold the microphone in place with no friction. The microphone moves as you adjust your hand or simply rotate the boom on the table. I really wanted to enjoy this microphone arm and gave it a try, but after repairing the item twice within 45 minutes by simply opening it, it didn't. worth my time
