did not meet expectations

, I've been looking for a decent fly swatter for some time and have tried the cheap plastic models you can find at your local hardware store but they are marginal at best. Then I tried the OXO brand and while it's better, it's too stiff to fit in an "old school" fly swatter - wire handle, grandma's mesh face. So when I read A di Alessi Dr. Reading Skud and the review I thought I might have found a better fly swatter. I actually ordered 2 of them. In practice, however, they are too "fragile" in the sense that it is difficult to control the direction and angle of the "blow" with them. The perforation on the front creates too much air pressure and the insects simply "deflate" before they can be hit by a fly swatter. I found an "old school" style fly swatter - 2 TENS for the price of ONE of these fly swatters so I have many more even if they don't have the durability of this fly swatter.
