Still in beta? in Sports & Handheld GPS

Very disappointed after using this watch for 3-4 runs. I previously had Suunto Ambit 1 and Ambit 3 Peak and really liked them. I switched to the Suunto 9 because of the longer battery life and some other nice improvements. Unfortunately, there seem to be some serious issues with this watch. On my first long run, which was actually a 100 mile run, the Suunto 9 ran 121 miles, over 20% less distance. It's completely inaccurate and it looks like the GPS feature wasn't active for some reason, although I certainly didn't turn it off. I called Suunto and they promised to take care of it, sent them the file etc and I heard nothing for over a week. I called again 2 days ago and was on hold forever, the automated system said it would call me back but never did. Completely unacceptable. Strava for some reason thought I was on a treadmill even though I was using the "Cross Country Running" activity setting. However, the battery lasted more than 24 hours.2. During my run today the watch seemed to be working fine and uploading data to Movescount accurately. I rode about 90 minutes, 9 miles, or about 10 minutes per mile, with a few hills and a few stops to stretch out for a minute or two. However, when I uploaded the file to Strava, it shows my ride time was 27 minutes and my pace was 3:06 per mile. I've never had such a discrepancy with Strava/Movescount before. Did I get a bad device or am I just a beta tester? hard to know
