I use this with foam cleaners like TonyMoly Peach Punch and Shiseido Perfect Whip for maximum foam. This works MUCH better with foam mesh than just by hand and is great for that purpose. You can get enough foam to wash your face and then use the rest as shaving cream. The only criticism is the design. I've seen other foam mesh open at the bottom, which makes more sense since you're foaming the mesh and then pinching and moving between your fingers to get the foam into your palm. It's closed at the bottom, making it difficult to remove all of the foam, and for some reason it's open at the top. The loop you use has a small sliding bead, almost like a small pinch bead on a soap bag, but it's impossible to actually pinch. It just slides around uselessly, allowing the little colorful washcloths inside the bag to slip out if you're not careful.
