Review on Sunlite Daylight FML27 6500K CD1 Bulb by Juston Alonso

The bulb arrived on July 15th and died before December 15th. Supposedly 10,000 hours, but it's not. Here's the math: He died within 5 months (and this review was written before the 15th). If used for 8 hours each day and we use an average of 30 days per month (the extra days leading up to the 15th include 31 day months) then this lamp would last 1200 hours. The seller may have mistakenly added zeros when writing the description as they state a lifespan of 10,000 hours! It seemed weak from the start, but I wasn't sure. I had to send it back immediately. It's a shame because I really like the Sunbeam light it's made for and now I don't have a lamp for it.
