I really liked this large bag. It was a one-time use for me, so the price wasn't bad (my new pup - a standard Golddoodle - will cost around £70 as an adult). At the time of the trip he was 9 weeks old and weighed 16 pounds. He and the airline combined for 18. We narrowly beat him, but American Airlines didn't turn us down. The top was lowered to 9 inches below the seat. (Beware, the middle seat seems to have more room.) The interior was plush and comfortable. I stuck a pig's ear in it and he was busy nibbling/sleeping on it for the whole 3 hours of the flight. Hope this helps anyone interested!
