Great product BUT! . read more

Honestly, I LOVE this product! Things that made me give it 5 stars: [A] Easy to install (see my first 3 photos which (1) shows the product fresh out of the box; (2) shows how easy it is to gluing in the cardboard dividers; and (3) the product before you put anything in it [B] Good quality and exceptional value, you would pay almost three times more for the same type of product at the organizer store [C] Good color choices to choose what suits you fits your style or decor.[GB]Keeps many items nice and organized so I can see everything at a glance. I used mine to store my "Basillion" pairs of compression stockings. As it comes with two separate boxes was delivered I started by matching each pair of socks I had, 2 of the same color and/or design, then folded the rest depending on which I wear more often, I even ended up leaving room for 2 pairs slippers off soft material that I often wear to sleep when my feet are cold. As seen in my last photo, all of my socks fit neatly into 2 boxes. I bought another set and if I get more socks I can stack them on top. Otherwise, I'll find another use for them. However, about the 2nd package. With all the positive things I said about the product, why only 2 stars? Well I'm starting to order 2 sets at a time from the same seller. I just changed the quantity to 2 instead of 1. You would think that even if other items sold by other sellers were not included in the 1 box set package, 2 packages of the same item would be shipped together. . Not only did they not happen (which annoys me as it's wasteful, polluting, thoughtless and reckless on the part of the packaging decision), but they weren't even delivered in the same order. . I will state the reason why I was actually going to give 0 (zero) stars for this review, but not only do they not allow it, but I don't want to mislead you (the reader and possible consumer candidate) into not buying this box should if it suits your storage/organization needs. Since the star docking does not refer to the product itself, but to the delivery and delivery of the product; which, while important to consider, won't impact everyone as negatively as it did me. However, let me explain. 1 package was delivered to my home and left on my doorstep and I have had no complaints about it. However, the other somehow went through the UPS delivery process for a customer to USPS and was therefore left in "in my mailbox" rather than on my door. While this may not be a problem for most people, I live in a private/gated community that has a gazebo (open plan building with a roof) under which all residents can find their mailboxes. Each will receive a box measuring approximately 12 x 10 x 3 inches. Parcels are deposited in large "mailboxes" and the key to the mailbox is left in the person's personal mailbox when the package is waiting for them. (I'm sure some of you have seen this type of mailbox bank.) Normally this system is used in suitable buildings or terraced houses, and not so often in single family houses. but hey, who am I to judge?!? My problem with this is that the pavilion is a mile from my house. This means that if I want to get my mail I have to either walk 2 miles and carry not only the letters but also all the boxed packages that are sent via USPS. Alternatively, I could drive my car but talk about waste and environmental damage. Some people drive their golf cart or bike, which I would do, except I don't have either and can't afford the former even if I wanted to. Given the distance from my home, I decided that I would only receive mail once a week; more if I happen to go shopping or shop in passing. However, consider the inconvenience caused by this distance. I live in Florida and it's hot most of the time. Unfortunately, although I am not old, I am not healthy. Through no fault of my own, I have chronic pain that sometimes prevents me from walking a distance. But what choice do I have. When I go to get mail, I have a bag to carry a week's mail in, so I usually go there between Saturday, when the mail is delivered, and Monday, when the postman comes back. On Sunday or Monday I wake up a little earlier than usual and take the dog for a long walk to get the mail and bring it home. It's generally a pain in the butt. On top of that, when I have a week where I receive a few packages, I don't know that they are waiting for me to get there and open my box. Sometimes that becomes quite a challenge. Once I had 3 packs! It took me a long time to get home because when I'm carrying something heavy on one shoulder I'm so out of step that my hip and lower back start to hurt before I even walk a quarter mile home! I'm not complaining because I have some health issues that are causing me pain. I'm ticked because it makes absolutely no sense for Revain to ship some packages to me and others via USPS! This is ESPECIALLY when I need to receive 2 identical products from the same seller. And that's why it's only 2 stars. I hope you understand that this has nothing to do with the product itself as I like it (so far). But Revine and whoever the seller was (I don't remember) should be ashamed of the waste of energy and other resources. Does Bezos have so much money that he doesn't think much about wasting it? Because if that's the case, HE might buy me a golf cart and then I'll have no problem getting mail.
