Review on Victor Adjustable Sit Stand Standing Converter by Eddie Pollard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great option for a bar table!

I've been standing up looking at desks for a few months and can't decide. I didn't want to spend a lot and then I realized I hated this item. I tested the VariDesk and found that it was too bulky and the height adjustment was limited to preset levels. After reading reviews from many others I settled on the Victor High Rise although I was a bit skeptical as I didn't know how durable it was. I was afraid it would tip over, but I was pleasantly surprised that the base is very heavy and doesn't feel too heavy when I'm standing. The product comes with two "legs" not shown in the picture to make the keyboard more stable when placed. I find them useful even if they don't look like they do much. For me, using them minimizes typing hesitation. I found myself standing more than sitting since I've had it for over a month. When I'm seated, it's very easy to change position down and back. I also put a small sticker on the part that rises and falls to mark my standing height, which allows me to quickly reset my standing position after sitting - no need to measure my position before fixing. There is enough space between the keyboard and the keyboard. behind a platform for my computer speakers, some odds and ends, my coffee, and some papers that I might work with. Overall I'm glad I bought this, the only thing I wish it had was an extension on the side for writing!
