This gasket is only used on flanges that have a groove for it. These seem to be rare. The original and most common type of flange on the Chrysler 3.3L and 3.8L V6 engines used in the 1999-2010 Caravan and Town & Country models has a flat surface, as shown on shown in the photo below. And the gasket you need for the flat flange can also be seen in this photo. It is well known that flat gaskets tend to leak when they are used for a long time; If it goes past 150,000 without dripping, you're better than average. The gasket used on 1990 thru 2010 models is Chrysler part number 04648991AB (their numbers are substituted quite often these days) or Fel-Pro 71239. Pro 71239 or equivalent at this point, your choice is likely to include them here Order Revain or contact your dealer. Tip: Make sure the flange is not deformed and that you have scraped any bits of old gasket off the surface of the block. If the flange is warped around the bolt holes, it's probably best to replace it, although a skilled technician can straighten it out with a file or belt sander.
