I had this hole on the bottom of the engine. Every time I poured oil, it flowed out immediately. I've tried gum, duct tape, spray foam, rocks, wood shavings, glue, hot dogs, cheese and even plasticine, all of which have failed. I desperately thought that such a bolt could work. To my surprise, this little thing does the trick. Just stick it in the hole and twist. As you turn it, it gets close to the engine, and before you know it, the oil stops flowing! You have to wonder if the car companies intentionally put a hole in the engine just for you to buy them! If they take root, I think duct tape sales will go down (although duct tape doesn't work very well)! Jokes aside, this works fine. Used on Dodge 5.7 Gemi, no leaks. Same style as OEM, with built-in rubber seal. The first drain plug lasted 210,000 miles and 12 years. I hope it lasts another 12 years and 210,000 miles. The most important thing is that there are no leaks.
