Lasted about 72 days.

Worked fine for a few months. I noticed that the water wasn't up to temperature. Checked, the bottom is rusted and split.

Good and fast: Rough Plumbing

Excellent product. Works as advertised. With this and a USB shower head/pump, I can easily shower at deer camp without scaring the deer off with my five day BO.

pool heaters! - Water Heater & Parts

I used two of these, each on a different circuit, to heat my 969 gallon above ground pool and it worked really well! It would probably get a lot hotter much quicker if I left the cover partially on the pool.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Something Else

Happy with this immersion heater!

I bought this to heat my dishwashing water as my kettle broke. Works great and serves my purpose! May 14, 2019 I am reviewing my review. Stopped working last month. I have followed all the instructions. I only used it to heat a small bucket. It's too late to return. Waste of money, shouldn't have stopped work so soon.

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons

Ideal for heating water tanks!

I use these in my 50 gallon water tanks for my pigs. (take 2 of these) They heat the water very strongly. I only turn them on at night when it's very cold. In winter I like to give the pigs warm water and they do a great job. It's not designed to run all the time like a floating heater, but rather holds the water temperature much better than heaters I've used in the past.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Tape

Less than 4 months worked fine and then stopped heating

Purchased on March 31st. It worked great. We used it (on average) several times a week and it worked. Today is July 26th, so less than 4 months. Last night we noticed that it doesn't heat at all. The light comes on but doesn't even get warm. So now it's useless. I'm disappointed. I knew it wouldn't last forever, but 4 months seems like a very short amount of time for this to work. I would have given it a 4 before (it would have gotten a 5 if there had been some sort of max temperature where it…

Great for a bucket but not great for a small pool

I bought one of these to heat the water in a 10 x 5 foot inflatable paddling pool. The water from the hose to fill is pretty cold and I was hoping one of those heaters would help get it to a good temperature. I used a long piece of wood to try to partially suspend the heater in water (do not submerge, the black parts are not waterproof). After an hour in the water the sensations didn't change, perhaps the heat loss to the air/ground was faster than this heater could compensate. Instead, I…

Decent 300 gallon pool heater

I was looking for a heater for my kids pool as everything is closed this summer and settled on this 1500w immersion heater. **Disclaimer** This is obviously not meant for that, so don't be an idiot and melt a hole in the bottom of your pool or hurt your kids. Never wear it in the pool when your kids are around. I attached it to the bottom of a clay saucer, drilled a hole and threaded a threaded rod through to act as an anchor. This made it very durable. I filled the pool to about 300 gallons…
