Decent 300 gallon pool heater

I was looking for a heater for my kids pool as everything is closed this summer and settled on this 1500w immersion heater. **Disclaimer** This is obviously not meant for that, so don't be an idiot and melt a hole in the bottom of your pool or hurt your kids. Never wear it in the pool when your kids are around. I attached it to the bottom of a clay saucer, drilled a hole and threaded a threaded rod through to act as an anchor. This made it very durable. I filled the pool to about 300 gallons and plugged in a thermometer that read 68 degrees. After being on for 2 hours, it rose to 73 degrees. All this was on a cloudy day with an air temperature of 70 degrees. In terms of energy consumption, I pay 0.12 cents per kWh, so if I run it for 5 hours in the morning, it would only cost me 90 cents and I would get about 10 cents. Temperature increase in the pool. Overall I'm very happy with the initial results and looking forward to using it.
