I bought these to replace some VERY old and badly worn front shock absorbers for my 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Quad Cab Truck. ADVICE! WHILE MANY SAY THERE ARE 2 SHOCKS IN THIS ORDER, THERE IS ONLY 1! So I had to buy 2 on 2 different orders. Also, I replaced the front shock absorbers with these. I wanted the best I could get and it was definitely MUCH cheaper than the local parts store. I work as a professional auto mechanic and even with the ability to get parts FOR COST the lowest price I was given was $85 for 1 shock absorber. I put my truck on the lift and 20 minutes later - BAM! NEW SHOCKS! I've ridden about 100 miles and the difference is day and night. Hits are softer, handling is better and it just feels better. The old shocks were just junk so they made the front end about 1 inch taller. I'm not saying you'll get the same lift kit, but since the old ones were so bad I'm pretty sure the front ride height is back to stock. To recap: Get this. Replace your shock absorbers at 50-70 thousand miles pie but I have all the necessary tools and a lift available so of course it's easy for ME. You won't find a better price. Remember to order 2.
