Not exact fit for Jayco RV door

This item is sturdier than the broken original i am replacing, but also requires more force to open. So, I had to drill a new hole in the bottom of the drawer. The slightly thicker barrel does rub on the door a little but it should be less likely to bend/break than the iriginal. 2016 Jayco 31DS.

Pros
  • Shocks, Struts & Suspension
Cons
  • The struts may be too short for certain types of Tanning beds

Good replacement for Bilco bulkhead door strut

One of the struts broke on my Bilco bulkhead door. The official ones were over $80 so I gave these a shot. The 20" 100lbs one snapped right on and worked fine.

Pros
  • They worked great for the motor cover on my boat.
Cons
  • The lack of ball studs may make installation more difficult for professionals

Gas struts - my new review

The gas strut were easy to install and just the right strength for my Mini Winnie door to stay open and close easily. Wish the description was better in terms of choosing the proper strength. Very happy with this product.

Pros
  • Good price and works perfectly.
Cons
  • Didn't come with ball studs or nuts like advertised

Tanning bed best in my review

120lb struts work great for the tanning bed we have. Read the parameters before choosing and know the weight of the top. But so far these are a great substitute for the tanning bed brand struts. Make sure to look that it is the pop on type also. Very easy to install.

Pros
  • These worked very well on motorhome storage bins. Easy to put on and works great
Cons
  • The 20-inch length may not work for all types of snug top camper shells

Works great in my review

I used them on a tanning bed lid and they seem to wanna spring back open when i close the lid other than that they are great The shocks may not provide enough lift for certain types of RV headboards.

Pros
  • The 20-inch length of the struts makes them suitable for a wide range of applications, ensuring versatility and flexibility
Cons
  • The shocks may not provide enough lift for certain types of RV headboards

Not as good as I was hoping for

Got these to replace the ones under our RV bed., which is what they advertised. They do make the lift easier, however they do not hold the bed up. They are lighter duty than the ones we replaced. Very fast service, 2 days.

Pros
  • Very happy
Cons
  • The 267N weight limit may not be high enough for certain applications

Do the job controller an RV door

Arrived on time, well packaged. Snapped right onto the ball studs. The 10 pound rating is perfect for a big RV entry door. Shaft is smaller than what came off but it does the job just fine. Would recommend.

Pros
  • Perfection
Cons
  • The springs may squeak or make noise during use

Great replacement for my opinion

Bought to replace the windshield arms for our CanAm and these work better than the ones that came with it. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • OEM quality is easy to install. Great price
Cons
  • The shocks may be too weak to lift heavier cellar doors

Awesome struts! for my opinion

These things are great quality so far. Installed them to open my engine hatch on the boat and so far have been working out fantastic!

Pros
  • Easy to install and work great!!
Cons
  • The shocks may not be strong enough for certain RV beds with storage compartments

Used for hot tub lifter replacement.

I used this as a lifter for a hot tub cover lifter. I couldn't find an exact match to length and kg lift so I searched for the gas spring struts and found this. It was like an inch too long but I figured out a way to compress slightly so I could install it. The old hot tub cover lifter had plastic ball joint ends and the struct screwed into the plastic. The plastic threads were stripped. So this one has plastic ball joints and a brass insert for the threads. Much better than the other hot tub…

Pros
  • Easy to install and worked perfectly.
Cons
  • The struts may not fit on all types of RV beds with headboards

RV Baggage Door good for me

These struts matched the struts on the baggage door on the opposite side of my trailer. My wife had trouble closing the one without the struts. New struts and happy wife. Make sure to accurately measure for the strut you need and take an accurate guess at the strength required to keep whatever up when open.

Pros
  • ‎arana-00244
Cons
  • The shocks may not fit on all types of RV storage compartments
