Review on Evolv Kira Climbing Shoe - Perfect Fit for Women Climbers by Michael Syph

Revainrating 4 out of 5

They are very comfortable except that they climb right over the big toe knuckle. Ouch! It's not an aggressive shoe, but an evolution of the basic all-around beginner's shoe. They wrap pretty well. They stick to tiny, slanted, awful holds much better than my Butora Endeavors and much better than my husband's Boreals, but they're not as good at smudging and not as sensitive. I'm still breaking them in, maybe my toes will stop hurting soon. The right one is more prominent than the left, so it's probably just the shape of my legs. I prefer them to my Butors for more complex, technical moves with poorer grips. Overall I like them and I recommend them. Evolves run a little small in my opinion, but having already had Evolvs I had no trouble finding the right size.
