GAVE MY DOGS HORRIBLE DIARRHEA

I have listed some of the best dental care options at the end of this review. I will never buy this toothpaste again. I've been trying to take care of my dog's dental health, researching and buying the best toothpastes. I brushed their teeth every day and noticed that they had severe diarrhea, but I thought it was the food. I skipped a day of brushing my teeth and suddenly her poop was perfect again. I thought it might be toothpaste, checked the composition and SORBITOL turned out to be the first. This brand is recommended by veterinarians but contains sorbitol, which is a known laxative and can cause gastrointestinal distress in dogs. I'm writing this review to tell people: be careful what you feed your dogs! Research the ingredients. Even if it's recommended by a veterinarian, that doesn't mean it's good for them. I researched further and found several healthier options for my dog's dental care. I wanted to share this list because we all want the best for our pets and those commercial toothpastes are no good. Raw Meaty BonesRaw meaty bones are great for dogs, you can explore their benefits. As your dog chews on the bone, he brushes his teeth, scraping off plaque and tartar and preventing food build-up. Raw bones don't splinter like cooked ones! Dogs and cats can eat raw meat because they have a very acidic stomach that kills all bad bacteria. For yourself, always follow the rules for safe handling of raw meat. Some raw bones are great for brushing your teeth: chicken backs, chicken/duck legs, turkey necks, beef/lamb ribs. I recommend checking carefully before giving raw bones. . The Facebook groups Raw Feeding Advice and Support (PMR) and Raw Feeding Advice and Support Worldwide have helpful information. I know this isn't an option for everyone, so I've listed more ideas below: 2. ProDen Plaque Off and Norwegian Algae Powder These can be sprinkled over your pet's food and are great for softening plaque. The plaque can then be removed by brushing the teeth or by providing the bones/chewing. Norwegian Seaweed Powder is also an excellent source of micronutrients. I will be buying these for my dogs soon.3. Natural Chewing Gums Some natural chewing gums that can help with brushing your teeth are cow ears, ox sticks, bovine trachea, and many others.4. Coconut oil Coconut oil is a good alternative to toothpaste. You can make homemade dog toothpaste using coconut oil, baking soda, and other ingredients as needed. I personally will add some bone broth to my homemade toothpaste because one of my dogs is very picky and loves the bird flavor in Virbac toothpaste. Toothpaste will be way better for my dogs than this Virbac toothpaste. I hope this helps someone who wants to prevent periodontal disease but is looking for more natural/healthy options.
