We live in North Florida near a deep well in a farming area. Our well pumps sulfur and iron along with water. Before that, we had high water pressure, a slight odor when near the water, and unholy orange slimy toilets, sinks, and appliances. And only with the supplied main filter cartridge, not with the more expensive activated carbon filter. Since installation I've seen literally "no" water pressure drop and am pressure addicted. We no longer have odor which is an unexpected side effect, but more importantly we have perfectly clean water, toilets and sinks. Even if you leave the glass alone for a day, ugliness will not develop in the form of a hanging iron. We've killed 2 different household water softeners in the "$500+" price range in the past just because of the sheer amount of iron work. Imagine my surprise when this little guy cleaned it up within a day of installing it. Consider me a very satisfied customer.
