I first tried a product from a local auto parts store but it came loose and was too big to fit with the door closed and actually scratched the paint on the opposite one door frame. This product is very thin and flexible and was worked on a 2017 Subaru Outback. Many of the new cars don't have a very deep thin edge on the doors, which is why the first product didn't work. This product is not deep enough to apply easily and smoothly, and then just peel off the tape from the adhesive after it is attached, and then press it firmly with your hands and you're done. First clean the door well and let the product warm up a bit in the sun.
