Review on Powerful Portable Solar Greenhouse Traveling by Patrick Freddie

The fan blows to the grill; Configured to be mounted on an external surface in the form of a trellis/frame

Solid little set. See below for installation in airflow direction. As a general comment, the solar panel looks good. The fan is not too loud. Just a low hum. The fan frame is durable. Decent caliber wiring and crimping is fine. All connections are directed pigtails, so by default there is only one way to connect everything. You mount it with the engine and grate facing out. When you put the motor and grille inside, the air will be blown inside. One issue I have with trying to blow air out of an attic is that the faceplate of the fan mounts to the outside surface when the air is vented - considering the grille is shaped to sit flat. on the inlet side of the vanes... I had to design some cross members to hook the mounting brackets if I wanted the fan to be installed in the gable cowl, in the insect screen and basically just below the weather and more in the interior... Something needs improvement with this design and the bezel should be set more on the dial and the shape of the blades suitable for reversing (probably some efficiency in the past to make the blade bi-directional). I tried what someone else suggested and swapped the wires and reversed the polarity. small motor... This causes the motor to spin in the opposite direction to what the fan blades are designed to do and you don't get very good performance. I would say that this product would be greatly improved if either two fan configuration options with separate directions or a more versatile fan mount were sold with this kit. The solar panel mounts were made of very light steel, about the thickness of a playing card. Mounts are of very poor quality. However, depending on the quality of the installation, this may be sufficient. Given the windshield in my area, I'd definitely prefer some heavier mounts. And I'd say there's probably less grip with better mounts. This solar panel has some sharp aluminum corners but is relatively light for the Surface and with those soft mounts I could imagine the wind picking this panel up and carrying it like a flying saucer.
