OUR HOUSE IS 3 DEG COOL

We have a small house of 1100 sqm. Our area has been over 100 degrees for almost 2 months and even though our air conditioner runs all day, it reaches 78 degrees in our house, it's terrible. If someone came to look at our attic and said our insulation was a disaster (the previous homeowner did a terrible job with it, big gaps everywhere with the drywall to the house below exposed). He wanted $4,000 and offered to put in 2 fans to circulate the air from the attic along with the new insulation…

Solid little set. See below for installation in airflow direction. As a general comment, the solar panel looks good. The fan is not too loud. Just a low hum. The fan frame is durable. Decent caliber wiring and crimping is fine. All connections are directed pigtails, so by default there is only one way to connect everything. You mount it with the engine and grate facing out. After 2 years and 2 months + update

After 2 years and 2 months this fan stopped working. I tested the solar panel and it offers full integrity for all 20VDC wiring and is perfect. However, the fan motor tried to start but just couldn't. This is a sealed unit, so there is no chance of repair. I will try to find a replacement motor. I paid $195. including shipping of this fan and 70 watt panel. Now it's $269. and if 2 years is typical then I wouldn't buy another. At the same time, the system worked flawlessly during its existence…
