Review on Feyachi Rapid Transition Picatinny Rail Mounted 45 Degree Front And Rear Backup Iron Sights by Cyrus Wright

Horrible craftsmanship. Just terrible in every possible way.

Garbage. Clamp geometry within the assembly is terrible and the rail fit is sloppy. The single retention screw for the ratchet feature on the elevation knob comes loose and is poorly designed — there is no set screw. The windage knob is way too loose with no way to adjust the ratcheting friction. Worse, the axle around which the rear aperture is retained freely moves left to right by more than a millimeter, and the aperture housing is loose in the rotational axis, rendering the sight useless in any case. This design exhibits several catastrophic mechanical deficiencies, any one of which would make holding a zero impossible. In combination, there is no feasible way of using this sighting system to produce repeatable accuracy or reliable windage and elevation adjustments whatsoever. In fact, I would categorize this equipment as a massive safety liability. It’s not a question of precision versus "combat or hunting accuracy” . no, it’s a matter of whether we could get anywhere close to hitting a target, instead of something we really don’t want to shoot. These deficiencies could put windage and/or elevation off by MANY YARDS if used against typical medium to long distance rifle targets. Unbelievably crummy craftsmanship. Total scam. Dangerous. Have I missed anything? Oh: I wouldn’t even buy this as a toy or a prop, it’s that bad.
