Review on πŸ“ž AT&T CL82201 Cordless Phone, Silver/Grey, 2 Handsets - DECT 6.0 Technology Enhanced by Bethany Green

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Manufactured by VTech with AT&T name printed

I use my PBX with Nettalk Duo VOIP VOIP phone service (NetTalk Duo) and am very satisfied. If I want, I can now have an extension in each room by purchasing additional handsets instead of relying on a single phone connected to the NetTalk module. This AT&T system supports adding up to 12 phones, but they must be compatible with the base. While researching phones, I found that VTech (Advanced American Telephones) makes all AT&T phones as part of a multi-year spin-off from Lucent. return. Compare Handset Model CS6429-2 VTech CS6429-2 DECT 6.0 Cordless Phone, Silver/Black, 2 Handsets, Menu/Select, Mute/Clear, etc. Buttons are identical on this AT&T phone system; The design is almost identical when comparing the center round button as well as the speaker cutout. Even HD Audio is borrowed from the VTech line. So far I've found VTech models to be a few bucks cheaper. I didn't know they were made by VTech or I would have picked one of these and saved some money. Features I like: Caller ID (see my video) - can be turned on or off, it's kinda funny as the female voice sounds very automated - becomes "lastname, firstname", "wireless - Say user" or "unknown". (The video says "Call from Welch, Dan." Backlit numeric keypad and caller ID display, but middle part of handset is NOT lit. Range is very good. No microwave interference (since it's DECT). Trick though, HD audio can be switched to "bass" and virtually eliminates any hissing Features I don't like: Out of 10 ringtones, only 2 aren't annoying Overall cheaper than cordless phones from 10+ years ago; drop one of those phones on the ground and it will probably break.
